Overview
Tecnomatic, based in Pescara Italy, designs some of the worlds most advanced technology for producing electric motor components for the automotive industry. In 2018, they sued two of their competitors for infringing numerous patents meant to protect their innovative and highly-automated production lines for making rotors and stators.
Our Role
Counsel at Lowis & Gellen, in Chicago, asked our creative team to help craft a video explaining various stations along the patented production line, incorporating a strong narrative to help the Court understand both the individual steps and how they fit together to create the final product.
Although Tecnomotic had sophisticated 3D capabilities on staff, they lacked experience with storytelling and a nuanced understanding of the claim construction process, needed to be persuasive within the confines imposed by that phase of the dispute.
