Overview
When defending against a claim of patent infringement, it’s obvious to teach the differences in function. However, there are times when it’s helpful to also remind the court that the patent is a ‘paper invention’ and the accused device is a real, physical product.
Our design and animation team contrasted the teaching of the patent, always using the actual patent drawings, with the very different function of our client’s accused device, using animated photographs of the very real product.
Solutions such as this only come to pass when the graphics team focuses on every aspect of the attorney’s message and contribute their own specialized knowledge and experience to the strategic goals of the legal team.
