Businesses facing international disputes have an increasing range of options beyond arbitration with the rise of international commercial courts and the increasing prominence of mediation following the launch of the Singapore Convention. Topics for discussion include the relationship between commercial courts and international arbitration, effect of the Singapore Convention on international arbitration, and the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on each of these dispute resolution mechanisms.
