Getting it Right: Arbitrating in the Post-COVID Virtual Arena (Session 3)

Description:

In this 3-part series, attendees will be invited to listen to a brief presentation and participate in guided networking sessions held at multiple times of day to accommodate participants from different time zones. Each event will focus on a specific topic relevant to practicing international arbitration in the post-COVID virtual arena.

  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM – Mental health in the virtual world
  • 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM – Lessons learned from the virtual battlefield
  • 5:15 PM – 6:15 PM – Getting the experience needed to advance your career post-COVID

You may sign up for more than one networking session. To ensure optimal allocation to breakout rooms for networking, we ask that you commit to attend. To promote free discussion, the Chatham House Rule will apply to all networking sessions (i.e., participants are free to share information or views that are discussed during the session, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speakers or of any other participant may be revealed).

Each One-Hour Session Includes:

  • Opening Remarks (5 minutes)

  • Theme Presentation by the selected speaker (15 minutes)

  • Guided Networking (35 minutes)

  • Closing Remarks (5 minutes)

These sessions are a collaboration of the Young International Arbitration Practitioners of New York (YIAP-NY) and the New York International Arbitration Center (NYIAC).
