Choosing the right arbitrator(s) may be one of the single most important tasks undertaken by parties and their counsel in an arbitration. This choice impacts, among other things, the parties’ presentations of substance, the efficiency, fairness and cost-effectiveness of the proceeding and the eventual enforceability of the arbitral award.
